Charlie's: Beef-eater's Delight
H and I have moved into our new neighborhood, which is wonderfully (or dangerously) close to a favorite among burger lovers: Charlie's.
It's a nondescript joint right beside a car wash, so you can have your car cleaned up, and wolf down one of their specialties while you're at it. Behold, the Angus Burger (P150):
With fries, it's P175.
Other stuff on the menu: the Philly Cheesesteak, a long bun stuffed with sliced-up beef, green peppers, and a generous amount of cheese sauce. On my first visit, it was more pepper than meat though. I'm told the Buffalo Wings (P150 for half a dozen) are also a bestseller. Evidence of this was that it wasn't available on this particular visit. But that's OK--it's an excuse for yet another visit!
Charlie's Grind and Grill is located at 16 East Capitol Drive, Bgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig City.

their Fish & Chips also beats the supposedly-best-in-town Fish & Chips of Fish & Co., and cheaper to boot!
you gotta try the craft beers, too :D
You know, the Fish & Co. chips were nothing spectacular when I tried 'em...
Thanks for the tip! But I really can't resist having a burger every time I'm there.
